Welcome! In here I will try to keep as often and as much detail as I can to keep track of my learning progress in terms of guitar.
Now some background info. ..... I got my start in a community class when I was studying in high school around 15-16 years ago. Just got to learn some finger styles and play with a little bit of scales back then, but didn't realize at all that the finger style was wrong, and that well no theory was involved. After that course I got to learn some chords by myself and started playing some songs but that was that, over the next 15 years I didn't go to class or try to learn scales or anything else, mainly because 1. no time, 2. it was too costy.
Fast forward to now, I stumbled across the Learn & Master guitar series and tried it out online since there were sample lessons, and decided to purchase the course as I thought it was clear enough and more importantly, the instructor and fellow students form a strong community which will support and help each other. This is something a private tutor, group course (bar maybe college class, but the range of student can be limited), or a self-learning course cannot provide.
I started the course and is now on Session 2. I will def. reflect on what I learned from Session 1 later and will try my best to establish and keep to my practice routine.
Good luck to you all also!
